Back to Basics Music Festival filled the Garden Amp to its capacity June 25 and 26 with Wu Tang Clan members headlining the show.

Out Da House Productions and Blacklisted MG brought 18 rap groups and a break-dance crew to Garden Amp in Garden Grove, Calif.

The festival is the seventh annual and marks the 16th anniversary of Out Da House Productions and Blacklisted MG; the companies that organize the event.

At the June 26 show, the crowd was loud and engaged by the fifth act, which was Crimeapple, who reps Soul Assassins. He flipped his script and rapped in Spanish. "What's up from Medelin!" he said to everyone.

Raekwon stopped the music during GZA's performance and Raekwon said that when Wu members rap, "They would turn to you to get that notification. Weren't for you, there would be no WuTang."

There were three bars and a grill. You could eat and drink where you wanted. You could also smoke weed but there weren't any weed vendors.

The concert lasted from 2pm to 10pm and featured a surprise performance by Ras Kass.
