Mos Def seems to be hitting some financial turbulence with one of his kid’s mother insisting she receive the money he’ll earn from his forthcoming tour with Erykah Badu.

Before the Unfollow Me tour sets off, Visual Artist Karima Sorel has put in for a judgment demand in the Manhattan Supreme Court. According to The New York Post, Sorel, who is the mother of one of Mos Def’s six kids, won $88,602.63 in a back child support claim against him. Her attorney says she’ll do whatever it takes to get the claim paid.

The court papers, filed June 1, say: “This matter arises out of protracted child support proceedings in Family Court between Karima Sorel and the child’s father.”

The papers also say Sorel doesn’t have a current address for Mos Def. She is also suing Ticketmaster, Live Nation, Outback Presents LLC and BaduWorld Inc. to have the judgment paid.
